Sidcup Cricket Club

Founded in 1877, Sidcup Cricket Club offers league and social cricket for men and women, and junior cricket for boys and girls. Matches are played on a Saturday and Sunday from April to September, plus mid-week T20 matches in the height of summer.

The Club has a successful junior development program, offering cricket for approximately 250 children from the age of 5 through to 18. All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so. Age-group cricket is provided for those 9 years and older, and the Club plays in the Kent Sunday Development League for U21s. The Club is an ECB focus club in recognition of its commitment to junior cricket.

ECB Clubmark accreditation has also been bestowed upon the club. This scheme shows that the Club is sustainable, well run and provides the right environment for its members. The Club is recognised as a safe, rewarding and fulfilling place for participants of all ages.

Playing aside, the Club holds social events throughout the year, the highlight being the annual Cricket Week in July. The Club has a strong online and social media presence (Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) where all the Club's events can be followed.
